My name is TaiAnna Yee and I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University. I received my B.S. in Public Relations and a B.S. in Journalism with a News Editorial Emphasis.
I currently reside in Lake Havasu City, my hometown. Here, I am the chairperson of Kids Hope, a subcommittee of the Cancer Association, which is under the umbrella of the Havasu Community Health Foundation. Kids Hope is a program that was conceptually created by my older sister, a cancer survivor, and later adapted by my mother. We are a support group for all children affected by cancer. I donate my time preparing promotional materials, corresponding with local media and organizing several promotional events.
I have previously interned at the Coconino County Attorney's Office as their Public Relations Intern. There, I initiated a county-wide program, promoting a drug-free life. I also created numerous promotional materials, as well as corresponded with local media. Throughout my schooling, I have also prepared media kits for the Coconino Humane Association and the Flagstaff Family Food Center.
My career goal is to work for a non-profit that allows me to give back to my community.
