To whom it may concern:
This is a recommendation letter for TaiAnna Yee, whom I’ve had the pleasure of teaching in the journalism program at Northern Arizona University.
TaiAnna has been a standout student both in the two classes she’s taken with me and in her journalism studies career in general. She was enrolled in Basic Editing and Feature Writing, and did superior work—and received top marks—in both. I was impressed by her steady work ethic and by her ready participation in class discussions. She was a highly motivated student whose example helped boost each class.
Above all, I found her to be a skilled student journalist who was always willing to do more than required in completing the reporting needed for her feature stories. She researched her stories extensively and wrote them up well and on time, for she has excellent language skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
I’m not the only journalism professor to be impressed by TaiAnna’s work; as one of our top students, she has been chosen as a journalism program scholarship recipient. I am persuaded that she will do well at whatever work she chooses to do in the future, and am only too happy to offer my recommendation.
Sincerely,
Peter Friederici
